Amanda Layser

Hello Everyone! My name is Amanda Layser and I am so blessed to be apart of the team going to India! Since graduating high school last year, I have been working full time at the Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area, both as a veterinarian technician and at the adoption center. While working here I also enjoy riding horses, taking hikes, and spending time with my 9 month old Niece. Working at the shelter this past year has been an amazing experience, and I loved every minute of it, but now I am slowly starting to understand where God wants me. With that being said I will be attending HACC this year to get my basic courses down to hopefully transfer somewhere in the next year or two to study wildlife and fisheries sciences. Lately, I have also been feeling my heart being tugged into the direction of missionary work. As scary as this new development is for me, I am very excited to go on this trip to India to see where my heart is and where God wants me to be when we all return.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Patty Weaver
Hello!  My name is Patty Weaver, I am a stay at home mom with two boys, ages 2 and 4.  God called me a little over a year ago to become the chairperson of the Missions Committee at Halifax UMC.  Since then, He specifically has called us as a committee to go global and to focus on ministry to children.  It has been incredible for me to watch God unfold His plan and call and confirm members of this team, as well as the Romania team.  It has also been a journey of deep joy to watch the church come behind us and support us more than I ever imagined!  I knew from the beginning that my role in organizing these trips included going on one, and God led me through much prayer to India.  I am so excited to see how God moves, and I am praying for boldness and unity for our team in loving the children and the fellow believers that we meet, as well as the unbelievers we come in contact with along the way.

Jessie Stipe
Hi my name is Jessie. I live in Halifax with my family of five. My incredibly handsome hubs Chris, my favorite daughters Emmalee and Ella and comedic son Earl Jake. We have a small fluffy mutt named Sam that never leaves my side.
I have a fitness studio on Millersburg geared to give women a place to support, uplift and encourage each other through life. It's our therapy to workout with each other.
I'm super excited to head to India and open all of Gods miracles for us to see and be a part of. Keep uplifting your prayers towards us and anyone we meet along the way!
Love Jessie.
