I have been a co-life group leader for 3 years, a released time teacher for 2 years, and have gone on several youth retreats. I am so honored God has chosen me to be on the India team and to serve with CTL. Now I can not wait to see how he will use us for his glory in the orphanage and in India!!

Hello Everyone! My name is Amanda Layser and I am so blessed to be apart of the team going to India! Since graduating high school last year, I have been working full time at the Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area, both as a veterinarian technician and at the adoption center. While working here I also enjoy riding horses, taking hikes, and spending time with my 9 month old Niece. Working at the shelter this past year has been an amazing experience, and I loved every minute of it, but now I am slowly starting to understand where God wants me. With that being said I will be attending HACC this year to get my basic courses down to hopefully transfer somewhere in the next year or two to study wildlife and fisheries sciences. Lately, I have also been feeling my heart being tugged into the direction of missionary work. As scary as this new development is for me, I am very excited to go on this trip to India to see where my heart is and where God wants me to be when we all return. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I have a fitness studio on Millersburg geared to give women a place to support, uplift and encourage each other through life. It's our therapy to workout with each other.
I'm super excited to head to India and open all of Gods miracles for us to see and be a part of. Keep uplifting your prayers towards us and anyone we meet along the way!
Love Jessie.

Primary reason: I love kids.
I worked at the nursery at the church i used to goto before i move for a couple years, then started at the nursery at my new church for what i could, now I am working at a daycamp for a camp I live at, which allows me to spend more time with kids, growing and playing. I Have 4 little sisters so I have some at home experience as well. I just hope the kids can grow in faith and possibly me as well if I am lucky.

I prayed for a long time asking the Lord what he wanted me to do in my life. I was afraid he told me before, and I was listening.
Well he told me this time and now I'm on my way to India, and I can't wait to serve Jesus
